I have a 4x7 chicken coop. This is my first year having chickens. How do I keep the coop from over heating? I have vents but it is turning into a sauna. It is a 102 degrees outside and about 90 degrees in the coop. Dont know what to do. I tried an exhaust fan and it doesn’t seem to be doing much. They have a covered run and are outside during the day.

Last night I used a fan, blowing cooler air into the coop, as there was no wind. Seemed to help things cool down quicker. Woke up to 75 f in coop, very nice.

Im using shade cloths, and insulation panels/foam boards, to create deep shade. Still nervous about the chickens overheating, probly just being a nervous nellie.

Good luck, you are on a good path

Not sure where you're located, but if you're also dealing with this heat wave - it feels like not much can help it. Like the others said, shade and more shade to help the coop from heating up during the day.
